Webmastering
- 2 options - in
both cases you send update
instructions (including
new texts or images) to
us by email. We adjust
your website files and
upload them to the server
for public viewing.
Option 1 - Payable-in-advance annual fee*
Payable-in-advance
annual fees start at £300/year (non-charities) or £180/year
(charities) for an average monthly time allocation of 1
hour to be used as needed for
maintenance and regular ftp update
of text and image on existing
webpages over the 1 year period.
Payable-in-advance annual fees
represent an improved hourly
rate compared to webmastering
services purchased from us on
an as-and-when needed basis (see
table below for details).
1 hour/month is enough
time to cover 2 or 3 updates
to text or images on your website each month + occassional more
major updating. You can use you time allocation month-to-month
or in bigger irregular chunks. It's up to you.
If you believe the
webmastering you need requires
more than 1hr/month (average),
then you can purchase extra hours at the beginning of an annual
period at the lower payable-in-advance hourly rate * (see table
below). Please be aware that hours not used in an annual period
cannot be carried forward to the next year, or if you run out of
hours during an annual period, extra hours can then only be purchased
at our top-up rate.
Tell us what you need,
and we will tell you if you
are likely to need more than our basic 1 hour/month service.
*Although
our pay-in-advance webmastering
service has a 1 hour/month time allocation, unused time cannot
be carried over to the next period and we do not offer refunds
at the end of the period for unused time.
Option 2 - As-and-when needed
Time actually spent for specific
tasks is charged @ £35.00/hour (non-charities) or £20.00/hour
(charities). Time estimates
are given prior to commencement
of each assignment.

or major development of existing/new areas of the site etc., which
would fall under our website design service and rates.
