How does sub-hosting
affect my website? The only impact of sub-hosting
on your website is that it does not have a dedicated IP address.
This makes no difference to the speed or functioning of a website,
but enables us to offer professional-level hosting at the prices we
do.
 What
vaiVerio says about VPS v2: VPS v2 is designed to
emulate the behavior of a dedicated
FreeBSD server. As a result, VPS v2 appears and feels much
more like a dedicated FreeBSD server than the original VPS.
The increased flexibility also presents increased complexity.
VPS v2 administrators take on some additional responsibilities
including user, group, and file permissions management. Also,
if administrators choose to customize applications, additional
responsibilities are incurred. There is a steeper learning
curve associated with VPS v2 unless administrators are proficient
UNIX administrators.
